Robin Meyerowitz is a writer, editor and educator living in San Francisco. She’s worked for a variety of clients including: Charles Schwab, The Gap, The Library of Congress, The Webby Awards, Levi Strauss & Co. and Robert Mondavi Wineries. As a journalist, she wrote for Adweek magazine in Los Angeles as well as various publications in the San Francisco Bay Area.
For more than 15 years Robin was a faculty lecturer in English Composition at San Francisco State University where she taught critical thinking, reading comprehension and expository writing skills to undergraduates.
She writes personal essays and stories which she sometimes tells out loud. She’s performed as an actor in very small parts and worked in post-production on documentaries including Promises, an Oscar-nominated film.
She earned her BA in English Literature from University of California, Berkeley and MA in Journalism from New York University. Currently, she’s finishing a dual memoir about her life and her grandmother’s escape from Nazi Germany.
